Sebastian is a strategist. He knows Santa chooses from your list, so he's put only one thing on his list. It's something he thinks Papa doesn't want him to have, so he has hidden the list. (He says Santa can see through the drawer to read it in there.)
Every year we're sure this is the last. The last where he'll believe so deeply in this wonderful, wonderful thing. I hope not, but just in case we're going to love this year all the more.
p.s. He is getting the thing. The one thing. A drum set, lord help us.





i hope the drum set comes with earplugs for you...heh.

I remember doing the same thing! Mine was usually a big Lego kit. I can't believe how big he is--I've been reading since before he was born, and as a mama of a wee one I can't believe how big mine is!

I recall my dear mama telling me (just after our girlie was born) that grandparents are always allowed to bestow drums and whistles upon their grandchildren.
